ABOUT US

Nano Energy Research Group (NERG) aims to predict new behaviors arising at nanoscale due to quantum nature of matter and to contribute to the development of novel nano devices. In this frame, NERG examines mainly the quantum size, shape and degeneracy effects on thermodynamic and transport properties of confined systems.

Thermosize effects (2004), quantum boundary layer (2007), discrete thermodynamics (2014), quantum shape effects (2017) and phase diagram for quantum oscillations (2018) are some phenomena that are first proposed by NERG in literature.
